The client wanted to make better use of the limited space within their apartment while maintaining a clean, comfortable and contemporary interior. The project focused on creating custom-built features that added storage and functionality without making the apartment feel crowded.

A multifunctional unit was designed and installed along the main living room wall, combining concealed storage, open display shelving and a dedicated area for the television. Additional space-saving features were introduced throughout the apartment, including a custom fold-out dining table and practical kitchen storage upgrades.

Step by step project

The project began with an assessment of the apartment layout and the client’s storage requirements. Each feature was then designed around the available space, ensuring the new additions improved functionality while complementing the existing interior.

Project Result

The completed fit-out provides the apartment with significantly more storage and usable space without overwhelming the interior. The main wall unit brings several functions together in one streamlined design, offering concealed storage, display shelving and a practical media area.

The custom fold-out table provides a convenient dining or work surface when required and can be folded away when not in use. In the kitchen, the additional drawer and microwave shelf improve organisation and help keep the available worktops clear.

The result is a more organised, practical and spacious-feeling apartment, with every addition designed to make efficient use of the limited floor area.
